Treetops – A modern home designed for a summer of entertaining

The best way to deal with a sloping site surrounded by trees? Embed the house into the landscape and create a series of external terraces perfect for entertaining.

To celebrate the site’s uninterrupted woodland views, large glass panels were incorporated across all levels at the rear of the property. These expanses of reflective glass were broken up with timber panelling which was also used internally.

Transitioning and mimicking the materials inside and out allowed a sense of connection between the two environments, while the balconies, terraces or glazed doors across the various levels at the back of the home ensured that most of the interior rooms had direct access to the outside.

We were really pleased to see this incredible project feature in Tatler recently, read the full article here.
