Celebrating Apprenticeships

As it is National Apprenticeship Week 2023, we wanted to celebrate our own apprentice at OB Architecture – meet Clayton.

Clayton is an architectural assistant based in our Winchester office where we are supporting him through his post graduate qualifications via an apprenticeship scheme with the University of Portsmouth. The government and employer backed apprentice scheme supports Clayton through his post graduate qualification, which provides an education that relates learning directly to practice, and real-life practice back to learning.

He joined OB early last year, and since then has worked on several projects ranging from one-off houses to chalet designs in France.

“In 2023, I am looking forward to getting involved in new exciting projects at the early design stages with OB, tackling new challenges and learning about the industry through my apprenticeship.”
